In this position...

The NHTSA Consent Order Interface Program Manager leads timely delivery of NHTSA consent order-related activity, including program management of key initiatives, development and updating of processes and tools, and maintaining compliance-oriented training. This role leads the interface with external consultants and facilitates meetings with the independent third party.

What you'll do...

  • Lead timely delivery of NHTSA consent order-related activity, including:
    • Program Management of 4 Performance Projects
      • Safety Data Analytics system
      • End-to-End requirements data Platform
      • Test Lab for Driver Assist Technologies low-voltage electronics
      • Component-to-Vehicle Traceability Improvements.
    • Develop and update processes and tools for the purpose of identifying and reporting safety-related defects and non-compliances more quickly
    • Update and create training related to compliance with the Safety Act, and establish a rollout plan
  • Lead interface with external consultants
  • Facilitate meetings for communication withthe Independent Third Party
  • Coordinate activities with Consent Order specialists in each CCRG Team

You'll have...

  • Bachelor of Science Degree.
  • Strong program management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities on a daily basis.
  • Ability to effectively lead multiple personalities and styles through both direct and indirect reporting relationships and interface effectively with all levels of management.
  • High level of interpersonal skills to effectively lead diverse, cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to identify opportunities to automate and modernize processes with cutting edge technologies.

  • An understanding of Ford product development and manufacturing processes or experience with Information Technology project management is desired.
