As an Electromagnetic Engineering Effects (E3) Engineering Aide Sr, you will support the System Engineering (SE) Special Disciplines Organization within Strategic Reentry Programs (SRP) in one or more of the following areas:

  • Primary role will be to support/perform main aspects of EMI testing to include: planning, writing of test procedures, conducting/overseeing the equipment availability, setup, testing, and test report to stakeholders and customers
  • Learn and grow your electromagnetic engineering skills to enable the logical and systematic conversion of customer needs into total systems derived requirements and solutions
  • Join our E3 Engineering team. Be mentored by senior experts, while contributing to multiple programs.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Associates degree in a STEM related discipline or equivalent experience, and/or technical training. Coursework completed towards a degree may be considered.
  • Basic knowledge of Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) theory
  • Knowledge of test equipment operation, including EMI Test Receiver, Spectrum Analyzer, Oscilloscope, and Signal Generators
  • Ability and willingness to perform testing work on-site
  • Eagerness to learn and contribute to critical missions

Security Clearance / Work Authorization:

  • To meet requirements of the program/customer, this position requires the selected employee to be a U.S. Citizen
  • Although not required to start, applicants must be eligible to obtain a US government issued Secret security clearance

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with satellite and/or missile system and/or box level test and analysis (or equivalent)
  • MATLAB, Excel, CST/EMA3D (3-D modeling software tool), and PSPICE or equivalent experience
  • Generating EMC/E3 Control Plans, procedures, Lab Reports, or equivalent
  • Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Analysis
  • Microsoft Office applications
  • Demonstrated basic understanding of systems thinking skills and behaviors
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills, proactive and self-starter, demonstrated teamwork and leadership
  • Enthusiastic learner, independent thinker, and team-player

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level: Secret

These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
