We are seeking an experienced and visionary Head of Head of Employee Identity and Access Platform Services to lead the strategic design, implementation, and management of our enterprise employee identity and access provisioning platform and services. This critical leadership role will be responsible for ensuring the security, resiliency, and audit compliance of employee identity and access provisioning across the organization.
The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in security and resiliency engineering and operations, a proven track record in IAM architecture, and exceptional interpersonal skills to effectively engage with senior leaders, peers, and a high-performing security team.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Governance
- Provides vision for identity and access provisioning services, enables innovation, and aligns with industry trends and continuous improvements that enhances the security posture of the bank with regards to identity and access management.
- Responsible for budgeting, project management, deployment and operations support of new initiatives.
- Drive the automation and integration of access provisioning infrastructure to other systems to achieve straight through processing and reduce manual work to drive operational efficiencies.
- Evaluate and recommend IAM technologies, tools, and automation to enhance security posture and operational efficiency
- Responsible for overseeing and managing robotic process automation (RPA) for access provisioning.
Architecture & Engineering
- Architect, engineer and operate the implementation of scalable, resilient, and secure IAM solutions
- Evaluate and recommend IAM technologies, tools, and automation to enhance security posture and operational efficiency
Operations & Resiliency
- Lead the day-to-day support, monitoring, upgrades, patching, configuration and management of the infrastructure, including provisioning, de-provisioning, monitoring, and incident response
- Develop and execute resiliency plans to ensure continuity and rapid recovery of IAM services
- Monitor and report on key metrics, risks, and incidents
Stakeholder Management & Team Leadership
- Build and nurture relationships with senior executives, auditors, regulators, and internal stakeholders
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of IAM engineers and analysts, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
- Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences and influence decision-making at all levels
Requirements
The ideal candidate must be 'hands-on', well organised, risk and compliance focused, and self-driven as this is a fast-paced and highly technical environment. Someone wanting to learn and grow with an organisation will thrive in this role. The role requires excellent prioritisation, responsiveness, along with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Requires 10 or more years of related technical experience in OneIdentity Identity Manager or other similar identity and access provisioning systems, including deployment, configuration, management and support infrastructure components.
- Experience in .NET language and customization of scripts and code.
- Strong understanding of enterprise identity and access management, risk management, compliance, governance and control.
- Strong understanding of key platform OS/databases e.g. Windows, Unix, MSSQL, MariaDB. Prior experience in administering such key platforms is preferred.
- Past experience managing user queries, tickets and other operational matters including dashboards is preferred.
- Prior experience in managing and demonstrated ability to handle all audit matters relating to access management, including internal/external audit and regulators across the region.
- Knowledge of program and project management methodologies and tools; track record of success in managing IT projects; effective problem-solving abilities; motivated to develop creative solutions to common processes or problems.
- Able to present complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audience.
- Prior experience in developing project plans, resource requirements and project cost estimates; ability to deliver projects within budget.
- Demonstrated experience in managing and supervising staff including hiring, performance management, development and counselling.
- Experience in working in banking environment is preferred.
- Possess the verbal and written communication skills to work effectively with technical and non-technical personnel at various levels in the organisation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering (or similar) OR combination of relevant professional experience and education.
