PURPOSE OF POSITION
Under general supervision, with latitude for independent judgment and initiative, assists in the planning, organizing controlling and coordinating of administrative and office operations ito deliver management support, health care enrollment initiatives and patient support. Will integrate these programs, functions and services with other departments and central office sectors when needed to maximize performance in the coordination of such activities

SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist department with problem solving strategies to improve PT flow & assigned WQ workdown.
Collaborates and performs functions as needed with plan of action being implemented for the well being of the department.
Monitors assigned workqueues.
Creates reports as necessary to enhance revenue and maintain WQ accuracy and efficiency.
Assists with PT interviews as necessary.
Participates and is able to lead departmental meetings.
Assigns and schedules staff as need by the department.
Perform all other duties assigned by Patient Access Managers.
Assigning patients to financial counselors or managed care representatives for financial program enrollments or managed care plan assistance.
Assess the financial needs of patients and navigates patients to the appropriate areas as needed.
Provider financial counseling coverage in clinics when needed.
1. A Baccalaureate Degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration, Community Health, Psychology or related discipline with one year of full-time experience in a supervisory or administrative capacity in business management systems, general administration, health care and medical/patient systems administration; or,
2. A satisfactory combination of education, training and experience.
