About The Job:

The Red Hat Brand Experience and Communications team is looking for a Marketing Project Manager to support development of creative and digital experiences for our brand experiences. In the role of Project Manager you will partner with account managers, program managers, and cross-functional working teams to deliver experiences on time and in accordance with Red Hat brand standards. You will lead the development of project timelines, scope projects, capacity plan, and ensure the Red Hat brand stands out consistently and authentically across all deliverables.

This role will be responsible for defining, tracking, and communicating progress of creative and digital projects. You’ll also serve as a champion of process and key collaborator along with other project managers in large, multiteam projects. Through the use of agile and waterfall practices and our project management tool, you’ll work with team members across design, copywriting, video, UX, and web dev to continuously improve how they work. In this role, it is imperative that you thrive in a fast-paced environment and embrace rapid reprioritization, while practicing clear and consistent communication.

What You Will Do:

  • Manage and resource multiple, simultaneous creative and digital projects
  • Collaborate with team managers to optimize and manage the capacity of working team members
  • Collaborate with project managers, account manager, digital producers, and creative/development teams to optimize processes and effectiveness across Red Hat
  • Manage multiple simultaneous projects, coordinating with cross-functional teams across digital, content, and creative disciplines, as well as external agencies
  • Define milestones and timelines for deliverables and support working team to deliver complete projects on time
  • Support the scoping, planning, and prioritizing projects by facilitating discussion between Account Managers and/or Program Manager and team members to ensure goals, expectations, and deliverables are clearly defined from the onset
  • Intake work in partnership with Account Managers and/or Program Manager through quarterly, half year, and/or monthly planning
  • Manage delivery of project planning, concepting, execution, promotion, and optimization
  • Create and assign projects in Project management tool
  • Lead and facilitate ceremonies including daily standup, backlog refinement, planning and retrospectives
  • Ensure team understands what they are responsible and accountable for
  • Partner with external agencies, Account Managers and/or Program Managers to define timelines and reviews for outsourced work
  • Manage internal reviews for deliverables and ensure feedback is captured and incorporated
  • Remove barriers, problem solve, evaluate processes, and engineer solutions to get the right work completed efficiently
  • Provide transparency around priority and projects through project plans, timelines, delivery cadences, and feedback loops
  • Support management in developmental goals for their associates within project assignments and creative/development team interactions
  • Ensure that projects are delivered in compliance with Red Hat’s brand standards, at the highest quality, and in alignment with other key corporate marketing initiatives
  • Support the creation and management of AI enabled workflows

What You Will Bring:

  • Ability to understand process, determine gaps, and make recommendations
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, problem-solving, and relationship management skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with individuals in creative, technical, and business roles
  • Experience managing projects and budgets with external agencies and freelancers
  • Superior organizational skills to support a diverse range of projects
  • Experience working in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment
  • Experience managing multichannel marketing campaigns, both in agency environments and with internal marketing team setting
  • Flexible with the ability to adapt to a constantly changing environment
  • Ability to learn by doing, thus finding opportunities to teach others
  • Ability to effectively provide, accept, and apply feedback
  • Ability to support and learn new tools such as: Adobe Workfront, Fusion and Jira.

The following are considered a plus:

  • Experience in corporate marketing, digital marketing, and project or account management
  • Experience working in a marketing or creative agency with a solid understanding of the creative and production processes
  • Experience working in a global, collaborative, cross-functional team
  • Experience working within a technology organization
  • Experience with Adobe Workfront project management tool
  • Exposure to agile practices like scrum and kanban and experience working with or on agile teams
  • Knowledge of Red Hat’s portfolio of offerings and competitive landscape
  • Understanding of and passion for open source

The salary range for this position is $86,770.00 - $138,850.00. Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.

Pay Transparency

Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat’s compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. For positions with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
