Join an experienced engine systems and module integration team tasked with inventing and developing the future of flight commercial aircraft engines. In this role, you will work externally with major airframers to set requirements and specifications and progress through design iterations to fully define new product complete engine proposals. Internally, you will direct multidisciplinary and cross-functional engineering teams to design and mature new technologies and engine architectures.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Conduct component and product integration for maximum performance and operability.
• Manage product and systems requirements, specifications, and flow-down processes.
• Drive validation and verification activities, including system-level testing.
• Define product requirements for modules, components, subcontractors, and partner teams.
• Manage interfaces between components and execution organizations.
• Drive critical-to-quality (CTQ) and risk trades within design teams.
• Oversee overall product configuration and configuration control systems.
• Stay informed on the latest technical developments and integrate best practices into projects.
• Use technical expertise for data analysis and support recommendations.
• Provide guidance and act as a resource for less experienced colleagues.

The Ideal Candidate: A strategic and innovative engineer with experience in aerospace engine engineering design and systems integration, capable of making well-judged decisions in a dynamic environment.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university or college.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in Aerospace Engine Engineering Design and/or systems integration.

Desired Qualifications:

• Master's degree in engineering from an accredited university or college.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Experience leading and coordinating with internal and external partners.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
• Established project management skills.
• Experience with global cross-functional teams and the ability to work individually and in teams.
• Passionate about giving and receiving mentorship.
• Exposure to commercial engine design or certification requirements.
