Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop budgets and pricing files for new projects and project budget changes
  • Configure and manage projects within corporate systems
  • Review project expenditures against budget and forecast
  • Report project spending and progress to project stakeholders
  • Perform financial forecasting and analyze project results against forecasts
  • Prepare applications for payments and evaluate client invoices
  • Provide support for subcontractor purchase orders by raising purchase requisitions and auditing subcontractor invoices
  • Attend and lead project review meetings
  • Build client sell rates
  • Provide support to Project Managers and delivery teams
  • Assist in project closures

Here's what you'll need

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Controlling, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, or a related field
  • Understanding of Project Controls and Cost Control principles
  • 1–3 years of relevant professional experience (experience may compensate for the lack of formal education)
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Prior experience in roles such as Cost Controller (engineering projects/companies), Financial Analyst, or Financial Controller is an asset
