Job Responsibilities:
- Develop budgets and pricing files for new projects and project budget changes
- Configure and manage projects within corporate systems
- Review project expenditures against budget and forecast
- Report project spending and progress to project stakeholders
- Perform financial forecasting and analyze project results against forecasts
- Prepare applications for payments and evaluate client invoices
- Provide support for subcontractor purchase orders by raising purchase requisitions and auditing subcontractor invoices
- Attend and lead project review meetings
- Build client sell rates
- Provide support to Project Managers and delivery teams
- Assist in project closures
Here's what you'll need
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Controlling, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, or a related field
- Understanding of Project Controls and Cost Control principles
- 1–3 years of relevant professional experience (experience may compensate for the lack of formal education)
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Prior experience in roles such as Cost Controller (engineering projects/companies), Financial Analyst, or Financial Controller is an asset
