This position is intended to convey to the new, independent company, to be named Solstice Advanced Materials when the separation occurs. This is expected to occur in late 2025 or early 2026.

Responsibilities

Job description:

Formulation design and optimization in coating /adhesive application and guide customer by value proposition.

Lab work on formulation (guide by Senior Engineer) evaluation, including sample preparation, performance testing.

Utilize the collected information of competitors, end users and industries, monitor competitors’ activities and make analysis/proposals for counteraction

Regularly contact with local commercial team and global technical team on technical development and support activities

Support global technical requirements with lab work

Together with marketing team on marketing activities and customer VOCs, Identify customer pains and needs.

Problem solving for customers.

Lab work on chemical inventory management, HSE management, equipment maintenance etc.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or above in polymer, organic chemistry, applied chemistry or related.

Minimum 5 years of industry experience in coatings/inks/adhesives formulation design and lab support. Be familiar with formulation ingredient chemical character, sample preparation procedure, testing method for Wood coating, Automobile coating, can coating application, test equipment fundamental theory.

Know well on raw materials effectiveness on formulation performance for each application.

Good internal and external communication skills.

Good presentation skills.

Fluent in spoken English would be a plus.
