We are looking for an Operations Due Diligence Manager to join our team.
Where in Wellcome will I be working?
You will be working with the Operations Director, Investments within the Investments Operations team.
The Data and Operations team directly supports the portfolio managers and analysts who jointly manage Wellcome’s £37billion investment portfolio, which is diversified across public and private asset classes with an overall objective of generating returns to fund the Trust’s mission.
The team is responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the investment process day-to-day and for the provision and management of timely, accurate and consistent data to portfolio managers, analysts and key stakeholders alike. To achieve these goals, the team works closely with service providers, counterparties, systems vendors and key internal parties and carries out a number of critical tasks on a regular and ad hoc basis. Additionally, the team is involved in several continuous improvement initiatives aimed at making our operating model more efficient and cost effective, to deliver value to the Trust and to therefore support the overall mission.
What will I be doing?
The Operational Due Diligence Manager is responsible for performing ODD duties across all asset classes within the Wellcome Portfolio, conducting manager reviews, supporting the Investment team and Operations Director, while collaborating with asset class heads and analysts, and participating in investment decision meetings to present findings.
