Technical Product Manager
Role Summary
We are seeking a talented and highly skilled Technical Product Manager to own the vision and prioritization of new technical features and enhancements for our technical products. This role will partner closely with the Business Product Manager and cross functional teams, ensuring accountability for technical delivery and value realization.
Responsibilities / Key Jobs to be Done
Roadmap & Backlog
- Define the product/platform vision, strategy, and OKRs for delivered applications, aligning business demand with the product/platform roadmap.
- Establish technology roadmaps to achieve efficient and effective delivery of business and customer value.
- Balance business value with technical feasibility while prioritizing features, optimizing costs, and improving delivery efficiency.
- Refine the backlog by incorporating necessary technical features and epics; collaborate with suppliers to understand supplier-delivered capacity and architectural integration.
- Collaborate Business Product Manager in prioritizing backlogs, managing product/platform constraints, and resolving cross-team dependencies.
- Manage demand intake as required, and work closely with Engineers to manage risk in the backlog.
Solutioning
- Define standards for the product/platform, encompassing overall design, features, development standards, release management processes, testing/validation, compliance, and master data structures.
- Drive selection of product/platform solution options and collaborate with Lead Engineers to assess technical elements prior to user testing while balancing technical debt.
- Advocate for and drive build versus buy decisions.
Delivery
- Collaborate with engineering to develop high-level solutions, including module creation, major interfaces, etc.
- Manage efforts against Technology Services’ schedule and financial budgets.
- Facilitate Change Control and Risk Management processes.
- Drive continual measurement of capabilities against demand volume, complexity, business challenges, and improvements within value streams.
- Orchestrate product/platform team cadence, such as quarterly planning reviews.
- Ensure onboarding and offboarding processes for team resources are smooth and comply with ISRM, Asset Management and other standards.
- Support and escalate issues across the solution lifecycle to optimize value for assigned value streams.
- Maintain accountability for cross-team communication, and synchronize with chapters, squads, vendors, and product teams to ensure timely delivery.

- Proven knowledge of standard practices and technologies, synthesizing them into actionable product visions.
- Deep understanding of high-quality product delivery, including planning, dependency management, and execution governance.
- Experience managing product backlogs/release plans, tracking metrics, and leading product team ceremonies to remove blockers.
- Has solution-specific process/capability knowledge, such as Business Process Management.
Product/Digital Expertise
- Comprehensive understanding of customer journeys and experience.
- Proficient in relevant technologies sufficient to drive solutioning; engages effectively with engineers on technical trade-offs.
Leadership Skills

Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in product management, including experience with software and/or IT products.
