Role Overview

The Ideal Candidate

  • Support of installed base including activities such as customer issue resolution, fleet issues, service bulletin implementation, Monitoring & Diagnostics, fleet configuration. Maintenance of fleet data, outage management.
  • Take customer technical inquiry responsiveness on LEAP-1B engine program, mainly focus on the line maintenance, engine controls and systems questions.
  • Support line maintenance, engine controls and systems level signification event investigation in APAC region.
  • Work with global line maintenance leader to continue improve Engine Troubleshooting Manual mature by incorporating fleet best practice, lessons learned, other controls or systems improvement opportunity.
  • Deliver customer technical communication about Line Maintenance and Controls related topics to ensure customer fully understand fleet issues solving status, containment plan, final fix resolution, support customer maintenance and fulfill customer technical satisfaction
  • Build CEOD data analysis capability to support comprehensive and complicated fleet issues trouble shooting. Support PSE hardware or systems owner to build the fleet issue monitoring algorithm, participate tech reviews and support the monitoring on-board.

Required Qualifications

  • Fluent in Mandarin and English
  • Bachelor’s degree or plus in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or Computer Science from an accredited college or university
  • 6+ years of experience in turbofan engine engineering position or 8+ years on commercial engine line maintenance or systems trouble shooting experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in aircraft engine hardware design, analysis, testing or integration is highly desirable
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Willingness to learn and adapt quickly
