Job Summary

This position will be responsible for 3rd party reimbursable billings, invoice processing, unvouchered liabilities reporting, audit mitigation and reporting, contract administration and administrative support activities. In this position, you will provide audit mitigation oversight of CIAC billings on retail and wholesale customer projects managed by Transmission. You may also participate in process improvement initiatives and cross training between other teams under Transmission Finance.

Job Description

What You'll Do:

  • Monitor 3rd party billings to include CIAC and reimbursable billings for retail and wholesale customers, asset relocations for state and local governments and warranty claims.
  • Ensure utilization of standard billing agreements with clear billing terms.
  • Maintain/Update list of current reimbursable projects.
  • Calculate/coordinate timely billings for reimbursable projects.
  • Create invoices for one off checks received by the company in order to apply payments.
  • Calculate and create request for refunds of advance payments for reimbursable projects.
  • Ensure the proper identification and monthly accrual of pending receivables for customer reimbursements of 3rd party funded projects per accounting guidelines.
  • Reporting CIAC funds that need to be excluded from rates to regulatory.
  • STRONG financial analytical and communication skills are a must.
  • Need to be able to interpret contractual language.

What We're Looking For:

Education requirements are listed below: Associate or Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Contract Administration, or related field of study.

Work Experience requirement listed below: Minimum of four years' of experience for candidates with a Bachelor's degree; minimum of six year's of experience. Experience focused in one of the following areas, accounting, finance, contract administration, budgeting, benchmarking or auditing.

Required License(s)/Certification(s) are listed below: Advanced degree or professional certification in Finance/Accounting is preferred but not required.

Other Must Haves:

1) Advanced degree or professional certification in Finance/ Accounting is preferred but not required.

2) Experience with Microsoft Office, PeopleSoft Financials, COGNOS, Maximo, CAA, PowerPlan is a plus.

3) Qualified professional with demonstrated teamwork capabilities working in a fast-paced environment.

4) Strong commercial, analytical, oral/written communication, and presentation skills are required.

5) Ability to successfully work with a diverse set of internal and external partners and all levels of the organization.

6) Core competencies include: adaptability/flexibility, teamwork/collaboration, communication, and planning/organizing.

7) Less than 25% Travel Required.

Compensation Range:

$85,081.00-106,352.50 USD
