The company operates in over 200 banking offices across the Southeast, with certain sales teams across the entire US.

Position Description:

The Salesforce Architect will lead the strategic alignment and optimization of United’s Salesforce and banker tools, ensuring it serves as the backbone of efficiency, scalability, and growth. As the architect of operational excellence, this leader will oversee the design, development, and integration of Salesforce and other related Customer Relationship Management technologies, enabling seamless connectivity across Sales, Marketing, and Operations. This role is critical in driving technology adoption, automation, and data-driven decision-making to enhance revenue generation, sales enablement, and customer engagement. This Salesforce Architect will build a future-ready Customer Relationship Management (CRM) infrastructure that supports business expansion and long-term success at both Navitas and United Community.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

  • Serve as a key stakeholder in driving technological transformation of banker tools ensuring end-user adoption meets leadership expectations.
  • Define and execute a long-term Salesforce and banker technology roadmap aligned with Navitas business objectives and United’s Growth Roadmap.
  • Provide thought leadership on best practices, system enhancements, and emerging Salesforce and adjacent technology trends to optimize operations and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to establish Salesforce as the core system of record for sales, marketing, and operations with Navitas, and collaborate with the CDO on the development of banker technologies within United.
  • Develop a vision for how the disparate Salesforce technologies (Terafina, nCino, SF Marketing Cloud) in use at the bank could be optimized and integrated to deliver superior capabilities for our sales personnel.

Systems Ownership & Optimization:

  • Develop, build, and deploy APIs for partner systems, enabling seamless transaction processing between our CRM technologies and external platforms.
  • Leverage automation to enhance speed, reduce manual intervention, and optimize workflow efficiency.
  • Develop and oversee and appropriate change management methodology with an emphasis on consistent QA, testing, end user involvement.
  • Oversee the architecture, configuration, and customization of CRM technologies to ensure scalability and alignment with business objectives.
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and governance within the Salesforce and related banker tools ecosystem.
  • Continuously evaluate new features and integrations across relevant technologies, implementing enhancements that improve system performance and business outcomes.

Operational Efficiency:

  • Build customized workflows and automation to support sales, syndication, marketing, credit, operations, and servicing.
  • Streamline data visibility and reporting to improve forecasting, analytics, and business insights for our front-line sales teams
  • Identify and eliminate bottlenecks in business processes using CRM tools and features.
  • Implement low-code/no-code solutions to empower business users with self-service capabilities while adhering to company software development and security policies.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Partner with department leaders and associates to understand needs and translate them into sales and banker solutions.
  • Lead user training and change management initiatives to drive adoption and user engagement.
  • Work closely with IT and external partners to optimize system performance and reliability.
  • Support the scaling of domestic and multi-division business operations through Salesforce-driven solutions with an eye towards unification or simplification of tools.

Innovation & Future Vision:

  • Stay ahead of sales technologies and Salesforce product updates and emerging capabilities to future-proof platforms while finding ways for cross-platform integration.
  • Advocate for AI, automation, and predictive analytics within the CRM environment.
  • Continuously assess and recommend new technologies and features to enhance business agility.
  • Serve as a mentor and guide for internal teams on CRM best practices and advanced functionality.

What Qualifications Do You Need?

  • MBA in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field or equivalent qualifications.
  • Industry Experience: More than 10 + years of experience in equipment finance, direct and third-party originations, syndication, servicing, and banking services.
  • Salesforce or related Certifications: Certified Platform Developer, App Builder, Administrator (preferred: Salesforce Architect-level certifications or similar).
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of Salesforce development, Apex, Lightning, Flow, API integrations, automation tools, as well as experience in Pardot, SF Marketing Cloud, Snowflake, Fiserv Premier, and LeaseWorks preferred
  • Leadership: Proven track record of leading sales management technology initiatives and driving digital transformation enterprise-wide.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to architect and implement scalable, secure, and efficient CRM solutions.
  • Collaboration: Experience working across multiple business units to deliver enterprise-wide solutions and comfortable communicating roadmap to senior executives
  • Strategic Thinking: Passion for leveraging Salesforce and related technologies to create a scalable, data-driven decision-making environment.
