Duties and Responsibilities:
- Sets up and replenishes serving lines and serves customers in food service units
- Gathers hot and cold food for service line and serves to customers
- Greets and serves customers, place orders and process payments.
- Performs food preparation tasks such as sandwich and salad making and beverage preparation, following written standardized recipes
- Clean and process fruits and vegetables and prepares various salads, according to written standardized recipes
- Cleans and sorts dirty dishes, silverware and glassware and operates dishwashing machines
- Maintains cleanliness of dining room and kitchen areas; sweeps, mops and vacuums floors; cleans dishes from tables and cleans dining room tables and chairs
- Operates and cleans food service equipment
- Inventories area and completes required forms
- Maintains sanitation, health and safety standards in work area
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to lift and transport up to 50lbs.
- Knowledge of basic math
