Summary

We are looking for a “Chief Engineer for a product family within secondary radar / IFF (f/m/d)” for the “IFF/COMMS Product Systems Engineering” department at the Taufkirchen site as soon as possible.

The “IFF/COMMS Product Systems Engineering” department is responsible for product development in the IFF area. In our teams, we develop products from the idea, concepts and architectures through to market launch.

Your Tasks

• Designing requirements and systems analyses down to module level as well as system architectures
• Support for specialist development (e.g. software, hardware)
• Development of prototypes in cooperation with the specialist departments
• Creating integration and test concepts as well as test specifications, procedures and reports
• Carrying out the integration, acceptance, qualification and field tests with verification of the
• performance parameters at system and subsystem level
• Technical support for project management during the offer phase
• Technical contact person for customers
• Technical management of subcontractors
• Technical management of the development team

Your Profile

• Completed engineering studies, e.g. electrical engineering, communications engineering or comparable
• Many years of extensive professional experience in the areas of product development IFF and system engineering across all relevant phases
• Intercultural skills
• Innovative and self-motivated attitude
• Structured, conscientious and analytical way of working
• High degree of initiative and commitment
• Business fluent in German and English
