About the Role:

We’re looking for a strategic and solutions-oriented Senior Resource Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll be the connective tissue between departments—ensuring the right people are assigned to the right work at the right time. You’ll partner closely with department leads, project managers, and finance to balance capacity, optimize utilization, and support the agency’s operational health. This is a critical role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced creative environment and has a strong understanding of project workflows in advertising and marketing. This is a remote or hybrid role reporting to the VP, Operations, Resource Management.

You Will:

  • Partner with department leads, project managers, and account leadership to assign talent to project based on availability, skill set, seniority and business priorities
  • Proactively monitor and manage team capacity, identifying risks early, flagging over/underutilization, and making recommendations to course correct
  • Maintain a forward-looking view of resource needs by collaborating with project and business leads to anticipate pipeline shifts and evolving client demands
  • Drive monthly, quarterly and annual resource projection meetings with stakeholders to align on staffing plans, project allocations, and conflicts
  • Provide strategic input to department heads and leadership on resource trends, gaps, and optimization opportunities across teams
  • Collaboration with resource management across the platform to align staffing strategies, share best practices, and support consistent planning and process execution across business units
  • Partner with talent acquisition and department leads to support fulltime and freelance hiring defining needs, vetting talent, and advising on timing and budget implications
  • Lead efforts to optimize resourcing processes and tools enhancing visibility, accuracy, and accountability across the business
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, offering data informed insights that support key decisions related to staffing, headcount planning and organizational structure
  • Collaborate with finance on staffing forecasts, cost tracking, margin analysis and reconciliation of freelancer invoices ensuring accurate allocation and budget adherence
  • Create and maintain dashboards and reports on capacity, utilization, and project coverage delivering actionable insights to executive stakeholders
  • Champion resourcing best practices across the organization promoting cross functional collaboration, clear communication, and transparency

You Will Bring:

  • 3+ years of experience in resource/staffing management or project operations, ideally within an advertising, marketing, or creative agency
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Project Management, Human Resources, Operations, or a related field
  • Experience managing multiple freelancers and internal/external stakeholders
  • A focused approach to ensure accuracy in invoicing, contract management, and reporting
  • A mindset to offer actionable insights to senior leadership
  • Proficiency with resource management tools, Microsoft Office Suite

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. This range may differ based on your experience and skill set, geographic location, and cost of living considerations. We consider compensation more than just a base salary – that’s why we also offer an exceptional range of flexible benefits, personal support and tailored learning and development opportunities all designed to help you realize your full potential both in life and at work.

Compensation

$80,000—$85,000 USD
