Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and self-motivated Senior Field Service Engineer to provide high-level technical support and services to our Air Traffic Control Systems worldwide. As an independent exempt employee, you will work with minimal supervision, making decisions and taking actions based on your expertise and knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct high-level technical analysis of product implementations, modifications, and enhancements to ensure compliance with customer specifications and implementations
  • Troubleshoot technical problems and issues independently, determine technical solutions, and recommend actions to company or customer representatives
  • Assess product needs in accordance with customer specifications and develop and independently present solutions to meet those needs
  • Apply engineering techniques, principles, and precedents to develop, modify, install, test, evaluate, or operate electronic equipment/systems
  • Independently review, write, and update technical documentation and drawings, develop technical manuals, test plans, and procedures, and create training curriculum and materials for fleet training evolutions
  • Instruct training classes and provide maintenance, repair, inspection, or troubleshooting of electronic equipment/systems
  • Travel up to 25% worldwide within 24-hour notification to support the Customer's Air Traffic Control Systems

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Associate degree in Electronic Technology or Engineering; or High school diploma and completion of U.S. Navy Electronics “C” School or equivalent
  • At least 6 years of experience in troubleshooting and repair of electronic systems
  • At least 6 years of experience with Navy ATC systems
  • At least 5 years of experience installing electronic systems equipment and designing, preparing, and modifying engineering documents and drawings
  • Experience using, reviewing, writing, and updating technical documentation such as test plans, maintenance and assembly procedures, schematics, technical manuals, drawings, and wire lists
  • Ability to conduct Line Replaceable Unit (LRU) level repair of electronic systems
  • Familiarity with the Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP)
  • In depth knowledge of the proper use of common and specialty hand tools, general-purpose electronic test equipment (GPETE), and special-purpose electronic test equipment (SPETE)
  • Ability to provide electronic, telephonic, and on-site fleet support on the operation and maintenance of ATC systems
  • Ability to develop training curriculum and materials for training evolutions
  • Ability to train others on the use and maintenance of ATC electronic systems
  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

Bachelor's degree in a Business or Technical discipline

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $86460 - $146982

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
