The Opportunity

This position works out of our Alameda, CA location in the Diabetes Care division where we are focused on helping people with diabetes manage their health with life-changing products that provide accurate data to drive better-informed decisions. We’re revolutionizing the way people monitor their glucose levels with our new sensing technology.

As a Project Manager, you’ll be responsible for defining, planning, coordinating, and integrating activities related to changes in existing products and the launch of new ones. This includes ensuring product readiness across all ADC systems, collaborating with tool administrators on change requests, conducting gap analyses, implementing process improvements, and supporting end-of-life (EOL) projects. You’ll also manage documentation updates, meeting minutes, and all related manufacturing, operations, and supply chain activities. You’ll track project progress and report status updates to management. This is an onsite role in Alameda, CA.

What You’ll Work On

  • Manage the full lifecycle of product readiness / setup in ADC systems—from initiation and planning to execution and reporting.
  • Support the full lifecycle of EOL projects— from initiation, planning, execution, and closing phases.
  • Develop and maintain detailed process improvement plans that align with scope, track progress, and support status reporting. Managing procedure revisions.
  • Ensure timely delivery of project milestones, within budget and quality standards.
  • Prioritize activities across multiple programs, balancing resource availability, timelines, and business needs.
  • Collaborate with functional leaders to identify and resolve issues, removing barriers to progress.
  • Participate in review meetings representing worldwide cross-functional teams plans including development, marketing, sales, regulatory, and operations.
  • Support the implementing and maintenance of quality systems & processes.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in a business or a technical discipline or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience is required including knowledge of Program Management tools such as MS Project, PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
  • Good interpersonal and presentation skills are required in leading cross-function team and communicating project status.
  • Furthermore, the ability to manage multiple projects and handle complexity.
  • Some experience in product development or manufacturing in a medical device product is desirable.
  • This position requires the ability to collect information from multiple sources, sort through, integrate, and resolve often conflicting requirements, and drive an organization through the various issues to result in a successful product launch.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification

$86,700.00 – $173,300.00
