The Service and Capabilities -S&C Quality Systems Specialist is an experience professional that will manage the execution of the Product Complaint Return – PCR process. This individual contributor will have sound knowledge of QMS that allows support to other processes like PHO, Non-Conforming process and data management, trending and reporting from time to time. This team member will be integral part of process improvement initiatives to achieve operational efficiencies.

  • Complaint Handling (Product Return)
  • Product Hold Order (PHO)
  • Non- Conforming (NC)
  • Medtronic Performance System – MPS Support

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Oversight and ownership of PCR process performance; continuously achieving KPIs in compliance with requirements and regulations
  • Execute the QA steps within the Product Complaint Return process for Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and Malaysia.
  • Work closely with other departments such Global Regions Quality, Global Supply Chain and operations to ensure adequate alignment of work and collaborative approach to problem solving and/or improvement initiatives
  • Proactively monitor and analyse process performance metrics to identify trends, detect deviations, and implement corrective actions/ Using MPS to drive teams’ performance and guide improvement
  • Generate, contribute or lead process improvement initiatives within the PCR Process and/or other processes within the team
  • Be an active contributor to team initiatives that foster a strong team culture, as demonstrated through organizational indicators such as ethics, inclusion, and Put Patient First (PPF)

Required Knowledge and Experience

  • Bachelor of Science Degree (preferably in Engineering or Medical Field)
  • At least 1-2 year experience working within a Quality Management Systems with experience related to complaints handling and customer service.
  • Knowledge or experience on implementing or adhering to complaint handling process.
  • Knowledge of Product Hold Order and Non-conforming processes strongly desired
  • Ability to quickly learn and effectively use a variety of IT System Tools, experience working within a PLM (Primary Lifecycle Management) System highly regarded.
  • Knowledge and experience working with Data Visualization Tools, Power App tools (e.g., Power Automate) for workflow automation and process optimization strongly desired
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with good command of English language (verbal and written).
  • Good stakeholder relationship management in person and virtually with stakeholders in other countries.
  • Strong ability to work well within a virtual team, and with significant autonomy
  • High attention to detail, as well as good prioritization, organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong passion for quality and continuous improvement processes
