The Opportunity:

Avantor is looking for a Quality Assurance Analyst to oversee the enhancement and management of the Quality Management System for VWR Poland & Hungary, ensuring compliance with European Quality & Process Excellence guidelines. Collaborates with managers to plan and implement initiatives related to quality maintenance and complaint resolution. Conducts training, audits, and data analysis to identify and implement corrective actions. Works closely with customers, suppliers, and colleagues to optimize efficiency and ensure regulatory compliance.

Purpose of the Role:

Ensures company-wide compliance with activities and processes by implementing, managing, and continuously improving the Quality, Environment & Health, Sustainable Development, and Safety System (QEHSSS). Fosters a culture of communication and continuous improvement through management reviews, training, programs, and awareness campaigns. Manages complaints, particularly those related to quality, distribution, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities & Deliverables (KPIs):

  • Leads the ongoing improvement and management of the Quality Management System (QMS) for VWR Poland & Hungary.
  • Establishes, coordinates, and monitors quality processes, working closely with managers and supervisors.
  • Manages customer inquiries, including product change notifications, supplier declarations, and certification requests.
  • Develops, reviews, and approves standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensures compliance with QMS documentation.
  • Maintains data in quality assurance programs (EtQ) and oversees new employee training.
  • Implements internal audit programs, conducts audits (ISO certifications, customer audits), and develops corrective actions.
  • Ensures accessibility and usage of QMS documentation by colleagues.
  • Assesses quality-related discrepancies, corrective actions, and preventive measures.
  • Maintains quality system databases and participates in EU quality meetings.
  • Provides recommendations for quality documentation and collaborates with stakeholders to improve quality processes.
  • Completes audit documentation and performs other assigned duties.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in science, chemistry, or engineering.
  • 3+ years of experience in quality management.
  • Certified and experienced as the Management Board Representative for Quality Management.
  • Proficiency in Polish and English; Hungarian is a plus
