Your role at Clorox:

As a member of the Canadian Finance & Accounting Team, responsible for annual and ongoing standard costs set-up process and all inventory reporting and analysis.

In this role, you will:

Set-up annual and ongoing standard costs. Own and coordinate efforts of cross-functional teams (US costing team, GSS, planning, BT) to ensure product standard costs are set-up accurately and in the timely manner. Investigate and resolve any standard cost related issues.

Prepare Inventory reporting and monthly inventory reconciliations for all key and non-key inventory accounts in compliance with corporate policy. Working with cross-functional teams (Glad plant, planning, BT) to understand and resolve any variances. Prepare inventory related JEs, with proper backups and in accordance with Corporate policy. Maintaining inventory internal controls and testing.

What we look for:

• 3 years’ experience in an accounting or analyst role
• Highly motivated, energetic and team-oriented
• Organized, able to manage time/ multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Strong financial analytical capabilities
• General accounting theory and financial statement preparation
• Ability to disseminate relevant data and challenge assumptions made by personnel
• Advanced Excel and strong financial modeling skills
• Working knowledge of SAP an asset
• Ability to think strategically and communicate on a cross-functional basis
• Solid understanding of other functional areas (mainly product supply)
