Sr Test Manufacturing Eng Supervisor

The role of a technical supervisor is a hybrid role that focuses on leading a team to test production parts and working hands-on with projects involving technology for testing. The Technical supervisor oversees Building #4 (South Model) to monitor production rates and test information to keep everything running smoothly and make improvements to systems as needed.

In this role, you will impact the efficiency, productivity, and quality of our test manufacturing processes. Your leadership and expertise will drive improvements, resulting in cost savings and increased profitability for the company. By providing strategic direction and collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will ensure seamless integration of test manufacturing processes, leading to streamlined operations and improved overall performance.

Responsibilities

Main Functions and Responsibilities:

• Leadership and Personnel Management:
• Lead and motivate the technical team to achieve company objectives.
• Assign tasks and responsibilities, delegating effectively.
• Evaluate staff performance, provide feedback and training.
• Resolve conflicts and manage escalations.
• Plan and organize technical activities efficiently.
• Set priorities and schedules for projects.
• Manage available technical resources, such as equipment and materials.
• Identify and solve technical problems that may arise during the work process.
• Perform root cause analysis to prevent problems from recurring.
• Implement efficient and effective solutions.
• Identify opportunities to improve the efficiency and quality of technical operations.
• Implement new technologies and processes to optimize performance.
• Participate in the definition of technical standards and procedures.
• Oversee the execution of activities, ensuring that quality and safety standards are met.
• Monitor project progress and report results to senior management.
• Conduct periodic inspections to identify potential problems or risks.
• Communication:
• Maintain fluid and effective communication with the technical team, Site managers, and costumers.
• Report on project progress and results achieved.
• Participate in meetings and presentations to communicate updates and developments.

• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with the specific processes and technologies of testing area.
• Leadership and Management Skills: Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a technical team.
