About the role:

Supported by a collaborative and innovative People & Culture team who are ready to see you make your impact with insights and reporting. Bring your data analyses toolkit to join as our Reporting and Insights Analyst on an 4 month contract.

Your thirst for insights will see you analysing data across a range of People & Culture subject areas from workforce planning, recruitment, diversity, talent, compensation and turnover. You will develop workforce metrics to identify emerging trends that inform not only our People & Culture strategy but our Board, leaders and our clients.

  • Review workforce data and develop replicable reports and metrics to meet cyclical internal and external reporting requirements
  • Extract and consolidate workforce data to create meaningful reports and insights in response to both scheduled and ad-hoc business and functional user requests
  • Continuously improve our reporting and insights offering; enhancing current metrics and creating new insights, identifying automation opportunity and reduction in the volume of data manipulation required
  • Where possible – review and assess out of the box Oracle analyses (OTBI reporting) to adapt for QIC use
  • Build capability in the team to enable reporting tools to be utilised in a self-service manner
  • Perform routine data validation and integrity reporting, educating the team on data quality
  • Develop and test hypotheses as to what may be happening within the workforce and draw conclusions based on correlations
  • Gain a deep understanding of workforce data and benchmark against external industry sources to apply findings to create a narrative of industry and sector performance
  • Act as the HCM Data Custodian to ensure downstream impacts are monitored and understood across the team and Finance
  • Continuously improve operating procedures and training material
  • Partner with HR specialists to understand reporting objectives and address gaps in current process

About you:

Prior experience in roles accountable for data analyses alongside a continuous improvement mindset, with a dose of curiosity and fun, will see you craft this role and scale it for the future. You will have Advanced Excel, PowerBI, and ideally a programming language and experience with Oracle cloud HCM.

Your application will be highly regarded if you have knowledge of key workforce metrics and the data that underpins these, to enable external benchmarking and/or experience in Oracle Cloud reporting including OTBI.
