Key Responsibilities:

  1. Import/Export Management: Oversee and manage the import and export processes for Surface Solution products, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and documentation requirements.
  2. Customs Compliance: Prepare and submit all necessary customs documentation and ensure adherence to customs regulations to avoid delays and penalties.
  3. Logistics Coordination: Collaborate with logistics providers to coordinate shipments, track orders, and resolve any issues that may arise during transportation.
  4. Documentation Management: Maintain accurate records of all import/export transactions, including bills of lading, invoices, and customs declarations.
  5. Regulatory Knowledge: Stay updated on international trade regulations, tariffs, and compliance requirements to ensure the company’s operations remain compliant.
  6. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with procurement, sales, and finance teams to ensure alignment and support for import/export activities.
  7. Problem Resolution: Address and resolve any issues related to shipments, customs, or documentation in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  2. 3+ years of experience in import/export operations, preferably in the technology or manufacturing industry.
  3. Strong knowledge of international trade regulations and customs compliance.
  4. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
