Senior Manager, Quality Process Implementation

Purpose:

A key player in Sourcing in driving Sourcing’s vision to be the Most Agile, Most Competitive, Most Digitalized & Cleanest Supply Base in the industry. Lead implementation of adidas Quality systems & processes. Upskill Liaison Office (LO) and supplier teams and manage factory audits, within the /assigned operations area(s).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all process implementation related activities in development, commercialization, and production to drive and implement one aligned adidas quality direction.
  • Ensure quality performance targets are achieved and objectives accomplished.
  • Ensure adequate guidance and training is in place with knowledge transfer to the broader organization.
  • Build and maintain strong relationship cross-divisionally and cross-functionally with respective counterparts, with internal and external stakeholders and business partners.
  • Lead Process Implementation on adidas Quality systems, programs & processes
  • Upskill LO and supplier teams on Quality documentation and manage implementation of related quality policies, manuals, and standards.
  • Manage and conduct all quality related factory audits, within the region/country/assigned operations area(s) through consistent application of available evaluation tools. Ensure factory audits are conducted on production and testing processes; quality management systems to verify the performance level.
  • Onboarding of new suppliers to enable supplier teams to manage daily quality activities independently according to adidas quality standards.
  • Certification of Tier 1 (T1) and 3rd party AQL inspectors, in collaboration with T1 Quality and LO Manufacturing teams
  • Implementation of 3rd party inspection programs at T1
  • Support quality related projects, trials and initiatives at T1 and Tier 2 (T2) suppliers
  • Support global quality business analytics team to collect data for monthly reporting.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Have a wide experience of quality management concepts in manufacturing of consumer goods
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, influencing, people and communication skills
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • Strong Microsoft office Skills
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to work with multidimensional teams

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

  • University degree in engineering/materials or related areas
  • Minimum 7+ years of experience of which ideally 3 years were in quality concepts and managerial positions
