SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
The primary function of this position is to act as a partner and resource to chapter staff and elected leaders. The Strategist cultivates relationships with chapter stakeholders, serving as a trusted partner to chapters and internal expert on chapter needs, concerns, and collaborative opportunities. The Strategist will work with colleagues throughout the Academy to develop and deliver appropriate resources for chapters, as well as facilitating ongoing collaboration with chapters for Academy programming and initiatives. The Strategist will collaborate with team members to plan and implement meetings, and conferences.
Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree or through equivalent work experience, plus at least 4-6 years of related professional experience. At least five years association experience or partnership management highly preferred. Required skills and experience include: strong experience in relationship development and partner cultivation; experience facilitating collaboration among diverse partners; planning and facilitating meetings; and experience in communicating information verbally and written. Excellent interpersonal skills, strategic thinking, communications skills, project management, and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work with little supervision necessary. CAE certification preferred. Experience with extracting data and creating reports using Salesforce, Association Management Software (AMS) or similar CRM platforms desired.
