Job Summary

Reporting to the PMO Director, the Project Manager manages cross-functional teams responsible for the successful on-time and on-budget delivery of projects, within a change-managed framework. Projects will be related to any line of business from the Biopharma & Provider Solutions (BPS) business unit of McKesson Canada, and can range from functional specific to enterprise wide in nature.

The Project Manager will define, plan, organize, monitor, and oversee multiple projects to meet defined objectives, is able to co-direct and co-manage projects with other McKesson Project Managers, ensures that appropriate action plans are in place to resolve any risks, issues or project health deficiencies and will provide clear and consistent communication across the organization.

Location: 2300 Meadowvale Blvd, Mississauga, ON

Work Arrangement: This is a hybrid position requiring candidates to work on-site at least 2 days per week at our designated office location. The remaining days may be worked remotely, subject to team and business needs.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of project management (scope, budget, schedule, procurement, quality, safety and risk mitigation) for your projects.
  • Anticipate and respond to the client and project team’s needs and concerns.
  • Coordinate with the business partner community to devise or modify procedures to solve complex problems or improves existing processes.
  • Provide partners with alternative solutions and recommendations.
  • Oversee the management of project risks, actions, issues and decisions.
  • Exhibit a good understanding of BPS governance policies, procedures, SOPs, and technology stack.
  • Oversees the preparation of accurate, timely, and complete project reports.
  • Provides regular project status updates to external stakeholders and BPS leadership.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required from College or University in a related field.
  • Minimum of 4+ years of project management experience in developing project plans and proven track record of project management success with medium to large projects.
  • Advanced experience with MS Project, Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Teams/SharePoint.
  • Intermediate experience with Visio, Smartsheet and JIRA.

Key Competencies

  • Experience working with various process models (SDLC, SaaS, Organizational Transformations, Process Engineering, etc.).
  • Experience in agile/iterative delivery would be an asset.
  • Experience with organizational transformations and process improvement would be an asset.
  • Prior experience with system implementations – preferred.
  • Prior experience in Patient Support Programs, Specialty Pharmacies, and/or Infusion Clinics – preferred.
  • Advanced communication (written and verbal) and relationship building skills.
  • Knowledge of Process improvement methodologies and effective organizational change management experience.
  • Comfort working with both structured and unstructured environments with a moderate level of ambiguity.
  • Adequate understanding of the Specialty Pharma sector, including McKesson’s offerings for manufacturers, patients, and providers, or a plan to gain this understanding.
  • Creative problem solver with the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders.
  • “Self-starter” attitude with the ability to excel in dynamic work environment with limited direction.
  • Experience managing “by influence” indirect teams at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated leadership, managerial, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Excellent team player with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Strong communication (listening, oral and written), presentation, and facilitation skills.

$74,100 - $123,500
