POSITION PURPOSE:

The Project Leader, System Design & Development (Operations) is a key member of the Information Technology team whose primary mission is to partner with key business and IT leaders for the delivery of business system design and development used to enable and support critical business functions and processes across the enterprise.

Experience

  • 3 years of experience with JDE EnterpriseOne systems development and project management in complex technology environments in the manufacturing, consumer products, or distribution industries.
  • Experience with system integration of complex application systems, such as custom solutions, package solutions, or cloud solutions.
  • Experience with writing SQL queries on JDE Enterprise One databases.
  • Experience with investigating and debugging technical issues using JDE EnterpriseOne Event Rules and C Business Functions.
  • Experience with JDE EnterpriseOne EDI configuration.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Collaborate with business leaders and end-users to ensure delivery of JDE EnterpriseOne system design and development that enables and supports critical business functions and processes across a cabinet manufacturer’s complex technology environment.
  • Provide technical and solution architecture leadership during end-to-end lifecycle JDE EnterpriseOne solution development to ensure quality of delivery and adherence to best practices.
  • Plan, design, develop, implement, and maintain the JDE EnterpriseOne ecosystem that supports manufacturing operations and business functions.
  • Support production systems, including analysis and resolution of production problems and end-user service requests, by applying knowledge of enterprise architecture, data architecture, integration architecture, solution development, service support, application security, and IT compliance.
  • Develop, maintain, and execute methodologies and processes that ensure optimal delivery of JDE EnterpriseOne solutions that meet time, cost, and quality expectations, including development methods, estimating techniques, resource-utilization processes, project controls, vendor selection, and project-management approaches.
  • Support a comprehensive enterprise information security program and the implementation of enterprise-wide disaster-recovery capabilities to ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of relevant data.
  • Provide day-to-day monitoring and support of JDE EnterpriseOne and additional systems supporting business operations.
  • Support testing and deployment of all approved JDE EnterpriseOne system change requests.
  • Create and review functional design documents and technical design documents.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot complex technical issues, including JDE EnterpriseOne EDI configuration, to identify root cause, optimize performance, and provide solutions using JDE EnterpriseOne Event Rules and C Business Functions.
  • Design and build integrations between JDE EnterpriseOne and complex application systems, including custom solutions, package solutions, and cloud solutions.
  • Write SQL queries on JDE EnterpriseOne databases to support development and technical issue resolution.
