Inviting applications for the role of Manager, POG development, Analytics (Retail)

In this role, you will be responsible for creating and implementing visually appealing and efficient retail layouts using specialized planogram/zoning optimization guides and software.

Responsibilities

  • Creating planograms focusing on effective and profitable utilization of shelf space based on customers demand and operational efficiency.
  • Create store specific Planograms that illustrate layout and flow of merchandising categories by leveraging data, business context & presentation architecture
  • Create, Update and Maintain planograms based on seasonal/cyclical requirements
  • Support execution of business-critical special projects with high level of attention to detail with 100% accuracy under tight timelines
  • Identify & implement process improvements areas on certain scope under space planning merchandising.
  • Lead projects involving micro space design, planning and execution for respective divisions & Cross Merchandising space.
  • Create relevant product assortments and optimal space planning that drives sales across the business.
  • Knowledge Management – Create, Validate, Store & Share category/business context and execution guidelines.
  • Leverage Project Management practices to help the team deliver projects within prescribed timelines with expected level of quality
  • Work in a team environment with focus on achieving team goals vs individual goals.
  • Act as back-up for Manager to manage day today operations
  • Lead complex business critical special projects (planogram) through business and functional knowledge. Analyze data to provide valuable data driven recommendations positively impacting space allocation.

Tools and Technology

Space Planning Software:

  • JDA/Blue Yonder Space Planning, Relex Solutions, Nexgen,Dotactiv, Apollo Retail or any other industry specific space planning tools

Data Analytics and Visualization:

  • Microsoft Excel, Tableau, Power BI

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Retail/Operations Management/B.Arch/BE Civil/Interior designing
  • Prior retail/Space planning/ Operations experience

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

  • Ability to execute and follow through on high-quality output, with limited oversight.
  • Exceptional analytical & problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to make data-backed decisions
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Ability to execute and follow through on high-quality output
  • Strong verbal & written communication skills.
  • People management experience
  • Ability to learn new systems quickly and leverage systems and information to influence others
