POSITION SUMMARY:
MPC has an opportunity for a Senior Business Planning and Analysis Analyst! The role is responsible for capturing, analyzing, forecasting, and reporting financial and operational data in support of the Clean Products (including Gasoline, Diesel, Jet Fuel) commercial organization for the U.S. Gulf Coast Region. This Senior Analyst will own commercial and financial analysis for the gasoline, diesel, and jet fuel production for the two largest refineries in MPC’s system. Given all of the production from these two refineries is transferred to the Clean Products Supply P&L, there is a tremendous breadth and scope associated with this role to ensure that there is clarity on the financial impact of product placement decisions, inventory build/draw events, and financial analysis of the affiliate and third-party logistics services. These responsibilities are carried out in support of the annual Business Plan, monthly and quarterly reporting and forecasting, and other related initiatives. The Senior Analyst will regularly interface with senior leaders, managers and staff as well as personnel in the BP&A and Accounting organizations. This role will report to the South BP&A Manager and be based in San Antonio, TX.
