Silver Wings Aerospace located in Homestead, Florida is the industry’s choice for a full suite of Power Generation (IDG, Generator, CSD), Hydraulic Pumps, Fuel Pumps, and Electrical Accessories.

This position is Full-time onsite only. Mon-Fri 8am-5pm.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Uses hand measurement tools and to help reverse engineer commercial aircraft parts.
• Creates inspection report to return measurement data to Engineering.
• Fabricates test equipment using industry standards
• Assists in writing engineering reports.
• Read and Interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics

Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Working knowledge of common inspection tools such as micrometer, caliper, height gauges, and optical comparator. Understand inspection and measurement processes and procedures. Experience with MS Excel and MS Word.
