About This Role

The ILS Lead will oversee and manage the Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) program, ensuring effective coordination between internal teams, subcontractors, and Commonwealth stakeholders. As the ILS Lead you will be responsible for leading the ILS Integrated Project Team, supporting program management activities and driving strategic logistics decisions to optimise system lifecycle sustainment.

The role we are offering you

  • Lead the ILS team, providing mentorship and strategic direction
  • Oversee ILS program management and reporting, ensuring alignment with project objectives
  • Support the Program and its Management, providing ILS-related insights and recommendations
  • Resolve ILS Program issue, ensuring swift and effective problem-solving strategies

Our ideal candidate has:

  • Expertise in support system design, spares and maintenance analysis
  • Proven experience working with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) such as SAP Plan Maintenance or IBM Maximo
  • Ability to analyse and improve ILS Program outputs, risk mitigation strategies and issue resolution
  • Strong capability in developing and implementing integrated logistics plans for complex systems

Location:

  • Homebush, NSW
  • We operate a hybrid working approach.
  • Your role will involve some ad-hoc domestic and possible international travel

Security requirements

As the Australian Department of Defence is a major client, you must be eligible for SECRET (NV1) level Defence security clearance, and preferably already hold a current SECRET (NV1) clearance.
