1st Shift 9:00 am - 5:30 pm
DESCRIPTION:
Stocks finished goods in proper location in stock; Accumulates orders per order number; Packs and prepares for domestic and export shipment.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Stocks finished goods in proper location in stock;
- Accumulates orders per order number;
- Packs and prepares for domestic and export shipment;
- Assess carton for proper postage and places proper postage;
- Will separate shipments which will be shipped by common carrier;
- Checks outgoing freight;
- Keeps work area neat and clean;
- Prepares work orders (signed by others) for special boxes;
- Prepares requisitions for materials as required (signed by others).
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS, EXPERIENCE, SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- HS Diploma or GED
- Requires the ability to read and write English proficiently to comply with work instructions and write reports;
- Basic math and computer skills;
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment and tow motor experience a plus.
- Lifts 25 pounds regularly; 50 pounds occasionally.
- Must be available for overtime as necessary.
