Description and Requirements
The Job
- Lead the team in providing operational network support.
- Oversee the design, configuration, and maintenance of network infrastructure.
- Serve as the tier 3 escalation point support for complex network issues that require advanced troubleshooting and resolution.
- Establish, execute, and maintain standard processes and procedures to meet Service Level Agreements with internal and external partners and customers.
- Develop and implement network strategies that align with architectural improvements and industry best practices.
- Drive enhancements to existing processes and procedures to address any issues impacting network infrastructure availability, security, or integrity.
- Actively research and explore new tools/technologies to boost team efficiency.
- Demonstrate the ability to work effectively under pressure, meet deadlines, and handle high-stress situations comfortably.
- Manage the team's utilization effectively.
The Person
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive network engineering experience with 3 years managerial/team leader experience.
- Experience in network managed services is a distinct advantage.
- Certifications such as CCIE, HCIE, or equivalent is mandatory.
- Proficient in incident troubleshooting, fault identification, and isolation, as well as understanding various networking components like routing and switching and firewall.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, technologies, and security principles.
- Ability to work well in a team and lead network initiatives.
- Experience in automation and scripting will be an added advantage.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- The working location is in the airport area (a traveling claim will be provided).
