What you will do
You will join our Banking and Payments (BAP) Department, and you will be primarily responsible for providing expertise in business analysis for clarifying and documenting user needs so that the scrum teams understand and implement the features required by Banking Operations and the modernization initiatives.

What you need to succeed
As a seasoned business analyst, you excel at eliciting, documenting, and managing high level requirements for large scale IT enabled projects using an Agile methodology. You seamlessly translate these needs into actionable user stories for Scrum teams. You embody the Agile mindset—promoting psychological safety, inclusivity, transparency, purpose, and collaboration. Your strong verbal and written communication skills enable you to perform thorough needs assessments, provide context to the development and quality assurance teams, and produce clear, accessible business analysis artifacts for both technical and non-technical audiences. Adaptable and solution-focused, you thrive in dynamic environments, working effectively with diverse stakeholders while managing multiple priorities. You demonstrate a high level of analytical skills which allow you to work closely with the team to find and validate solutions. As a self-starter, you’re consistently looking for ways to contribute to your team’s success and continuous improvement.

Your education and experience
This position requires a bachelor’s degree in business administration, commerce, computer science or related field and a minimum of five years of experience in consulting on the development of business requirements and delivering of business system analysis while ensuring accurate consideration of people, processes, systems design and technology. In addition, you have a minimum of three years’ experience working as a business analyst within Agile Software development environment. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Language requirement
The Bank’s work environment is conducive to the use of both of Canada’s official languages - English and French. The position language requirement is Level 5 (Fully Functional). If a qualified candidate who meets the language requirement of the position is not found, a qualified candidate who does not meet the language requirement may be considered. Training may be provided to help reach the required level. Both bilingual and unilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Hybrid Work Model
The Bank offers work arrangements that provide employees with flexibility, enable high-performing teams, and support an excellent workplace culture. Most employees can telework from home for a substantial part of each month as part of the Bank`s hybrid work model, and they are expected on site at the Bank location a minimum of eight days per month to help build connections between colleagues. You must live in Canada, and within reasonable commuting distance of the office.
