Directs housekeeping program to ensure clean, orderly, and attractive conditions of establishment by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.

Overall supervision of personnel including staffing, employee relations, evaluations, recruitment, training, payroll, and related matters. Makes decisions regarding hiring, discipline and termination, subject to the review of the FM and Human Resources. Direct the daily activities of all C&W Services janitorial employees as well as sub-contractors. Inspects and evaluates physical condition of establishment. Ensure that all work performed under his/her supervision is done in a timely and cost effective manner according to the applicable codes. Manage facility budgeting process to ensure appropriate and timely preparation. Work with established constraints and facility conditions and report on variances when applicable. Establish and implement policies and procedures for facilities operations, including preventive maintenance program, equipment replacement, quality assurance, and safety. Ensure that all facilities under his/her responsibility are safe and comply with all federal, state, and local laws. Oversee the status of practices, policies, and procedures as needed to remain in compliance with standards, requirements, and regulations of regulatory agencies, national, state, and local electrical, buildings, and plumbing codes. Ensure that environmental procedures and issues are being implemented through the direction of the customer’s environmental specialist representative. Periodically inventories supplies and equipment. Investigates new and improved cleaning instruments and methods. Special projects and related duties as requested. Organize and develop short and long term goals and objectives.

Additional Requirements:

Personal work week (normally five days) could include evening hours. Must be willing to work off hours, weekends, holidays if needed. Must be available by cell phone at all times. If unavailable due to vacation/illness, must ensure coverage by competent fill-in is arranged and approved by FM. Position may require some physical labor, but manager shall not work more than 40% of total time on job.
