This role sits within the Adoption Innovation Lab team and supports the associated functional processes within the Adoption Center Organization. This position will be part of a team to design activities that assist the iteration and scaling of new capabilities to the impacted business processes/owners. Focused on proving the value of delivered capabilities stays whole through adoption by the impacted business. Rooted in analysis of expected business outcomes and associated metrics and KPIs.

Activities may include designing, building, and implementing new ways of working to achieve a more efficient and higher quality business process. This role will maintain a strong focus on data outcome analysis to design and recommend the optimal processes for the business to scale and achieve expected value targets aligned with the applicable program.

The Business Analytics Lead Analyst should be familiar with data analysis, process improvement, innovative test & learn methods, documenting and storytelling of gathered insights, implementing new automation, assisting in the development and enhancement of processes, and analyzing results to improve technology capabilities or operational processes.

Duties may include:

  • Interacting with both delivery and operational teams in deriving insights based on expected business outcomes to identify issues and defects of associated capability or impacted processes
  • Monitoring KPI metrics in support of the business processes being tested in the “Incubated” environment to gather and report from
  • Identify risks to adoption of the capabilities based on data from Incubating and measuring KPI’s and other data measurements
  • Conducts independent and/or collaborative data outcome analysis
  • Works independently and collaboratively with Cigna business partners to identify additional opportunities for innovation within the process that is currently being Incubated
  • Implements and supports business activities utilizing data mining, reporting, and other intelligence methods and tools
  • Analyzes results for trends and root cause through comparative, diagnostic, or statistical analysis with conclusions

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher strongly preferred or equivalent work experience required
  • 3+ years of experience working in a healthcare data environment
  • 5+ years of experience working in a Data Outcomes Analysis or Process Improvement (business focused) environment required
  • Able to speak the language of business and tech – driving shared progress against expected outcomes through to completion for each project
  • Strong drive to learn new concepts/technology with the ability to embrace a rapidly changing environment
  • Intermediate Excel proficiency
  • Organizational skills with the ability to manage large data sets to find trends & patterns
  • Strong PowerPoint presentation skills with the ability to present insights through storytelling to influence in a matrixed environment
  • Expert critical thinking skills with the ability to identify process enhancement opportunities where the right path forward is not always clear

Preferred:

  • Experience working in CPF or HCPM – or Healthcare Provider Data Management systems preferred
  • Knowledge of Commercial Network, Contract and Demographic provider data elements highly preferred
  • Strong knowledge and experience in healthcare operations, with an emphasis on healthcare providers, contracting, and provider services a plus
  • Some knowledge or exposure to Cigna systems is preferred, which may include Proclaim, PMHS, SANP, or Facets.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 77,300 - 128,800 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
