About the Role** The UberEats Marketplace team in Japan optimizes the tradeoffs between growth, speed, reliability and profitability at the intersection of eaters, merchants and delivery partners. As Marketplace Operations & Logistics Manager, you'll have a unique opportunity to create processes that improve our reliability, drive product launches that fit local needs, power our growth and improve the overall marketplace efficiency. \-\-\-\- What the You'll Do ---- 1. Become the local expert on how our dispatch and matching algorithms work in Japan and find opportunities to improve our overall marketplace efficiency (minutes per trip, actual vs estimated time to delivery accuracy, etc.). 2. Manage and ensure seamless product launches in Japan coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders. 3. Monitor and deep dive into new product experiments to determine the best path forward and advocate for Japan’s priorities. 4. Use data to validate underlying assumptions across the marketplace and build compelling business cases to drive global product development. 5. Hands-on problem solving and building hacky solutions to urgent local needs. \-\-\-\- What You'll Need ---- 1. 3+ Years of experience with proven track record owning and driving operational metrics. 2. Proven track record using insights from complex data sets to drive decisions and solve problems. 3. Outstanding stakeholder management and collaboration skills, able to engage and influence cross-functional teams. 4.
