The Implementation Associate is a key role within the Professional Services team, designed for individuals with foundational experience in banking, SaaS, or consulting who are eager to grow into a full Implementation Consultant position. In this role, you'll support the successful delivery of client implementations by assisting with product configuration, gathering requirements, and contributing to project execution.

This is a highly collaborative role that partners closely with Implementation Consultants, Project Managers, and Client Education teams. We're looking for driven, detail-oriented professionals who are passionate about finance and technology and excited to develop the skills necessary for long-term success in SaaS implementations. Applicants may choose to work remote or office based in Raleigh, NC or Austin, TX.

What You’ll Do:

  • Build subject-matter knowledge of the Sageworks Banking/Loan Origination platform through hands-on experience and structured learning.
  • Support client implementations by assisting with platform configuration, documentation, and delivery preparation.
  • Participate in client meetings and working sessions to gather requirements, capture decisions, and take detailed notes.
  • Assist Implementation Consultants with software configuration tasks and maintaining project plans and tracking key milestones.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure task status, risks, and issues are communicated appropriately.
  • Coordinate with Client Education to support training efforts by sharing configuration and product information.
  • Maintain and update internal documentation, training materials, and process guides.
  • Provide excellent internal and client support, including basic troubleshooting and post-meeting follow-up.

What You’ll Need:

  • 1-2 years of experience in banking, consulting, SaaS implementation, or related fields.
  • Foundational knowledge of credit, banking processes, or financial systems preferred.
  • Strong interest in building a career in SaaS implementations and professional services.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated organizational and time management skills.
  • Comfortable learning new software platforms and technical concepts.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time for client-related activities.
