Balducci's Food Lover's Market is seeking a dedicated and customer-focused individual to join our Catering Call Center Team. This part-time position plays a vital role in supporting our catering operations across locations in New York, Connecticut, and the Washington, D.C. area.

Key Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls from customers and store teams in a professional and courteous manner.
• Provide detailed information about catering products, services, and pricing.
• Accurately place catering orders and respond to customer inquiries.
• Offer upselling suggestions to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
• Maintain a strong knowledge of our food offerings and catering services.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in food service, catering, or restaurant environments is required.
• Strong communication skills with a clear speaking voice and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
• Ability to adhere to call handling quality standards and set clear expectations for follow-up and resolution.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Capable of working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.

• This is a part-time position.

Pay transparency: The pay range is $17.50 to $23.00 per hour, but no less than the local minimum wage. Starting rates will vary based on things like location, experience, qualifications and the terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement.”
