Role Overview:
As an Advanced Field Service Engineer at Honeywell, you will play a pivotal role in providing advanced technical support and expertise to customers in the BA sector. Your main tasks will involve troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues while ensuring the effective implementation of Honeywell’s solutions. Your contributions will significantly impact the efficiency, productivity, and safety of customer operations. You will report directly to the Field Service Supervisor and will operate in a Hybrid environment of working onsite to complete projects and service work and remote assistance of field technicians and customers.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Troubleshooting Complex Issues: You will need to be proficient in diagnosing and resolving intricate technical problems that customers face regarding BA solutions.
2. Technical Assistance and Expertise: Providing advanced support for installations and the use of Honeywell's BA technologies is critical.
3. Collaboration: The role requires working alongside cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation and adherence to project timelines.
4. Training Sessions: You will be responsible for conducting training for both customers and field service engineers, which necessitates excellent communication skills.
5. Industry Trends: Keeping abreast of developments in the industrial automation field and recommending improvements based on these trends is essential.
6. Travel Requirements: The position has a travel commitment of approximately 60%, indicating that you must be prepared to visit customer sites frequently.
