The Role

As a critical member of the Conversion Operations team, you will provide extensive support to our Fidelity Enterprise partners across all Conversion, Deconversion and Bulk Asset Transfer events. The analyst will engage with our internal business partners to ensure we meet and or exceed client expectations related to the coordination, transition, and reconciliation of client assets onto or away from the Fidelity platform. You will coordinate the transfer of various product types with prominent levels of speed and accuracy. Associates will monitor the handling of transactions to ensure compliance with established standards; resolve or coordinate resolution for complex customer transaction issues. You will provide analytical insight and troubleshoot complex issues and problems. Issues can span across multiple functions. The Analyst will support multiple initiatives at the same time and integrates them into a comprehensive plan, while meeting business priorities and adjusts work effort accordingly. You will continuously review assigned processes for improvement opportunities, make recommendations for process improvement work collectively to increase business results. Our objective is to provide the underlying client with a smooth and flawless transition.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3+ years’ proven experience in Mutual Funds, Settlements or Asset Servicing preferred
  • Project Management experience preferred
  • Analytical, organized, and have strong multi-tasking skills
  • Decisive, creative, and adaptable, with experience developing and driving solutions for clients while balancing business goals and priorities
  • Proficient analytical skills to assist with solving and preventing complicated problems
  • Expertly lead by influence and use persuasive communication and social skills to engage with clients, contra firms, mutual fund companies and internal business partners
  • Leading multiple projects and prioritizing workload based on urgency, importance, client expectations and business needs.
  • Ability to collaborate and construct positive relationships across the enterprise
  • Ability to work both independently and within a complementary team
  • Strong Access Database, Excel, Access and OpsWorX skills required
  • SharePoint, JIRA, DST Vision experience a plus
  • FINRA Series 99 or 7 preferred

The Team

Conversion Operations is part of the Operations and Service Group. As a member of the team, the Analyst will support the bulk transfer of client positions and balances for multiple business segments, including National Financial Services, Fidelity Brokerage and Wealth. We coordinate and process the transfer of securities via the Depository Trust Company, the National Security Clearing Corporation, the Option Clearing Corporation, and other utilities to achieve a positive client onboarding experience. The team plays a substantial role coordinating project efforts and completing requirements timely, while anticipating challenges and formulated solutions before the project is adversely impacted.

The base salary range for this position is $52,000-$83,000 per year.

Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.

Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
