We're looking for an experienced and strategic Product Manager to lead the development and ongoing evolution of our Mobile Application and Tap-to-Pay product portfolio for the Canadian market. You will sit within the Core Products team and plays a critical part in shaping modern payment experiences for merchants.

You'll work at the intersection of product strategy, technology delivery, and go-to-market execution—helping guide innovation, usability, and performance across the portfolio.

We're looking for someone with deep experience in merchant acquiring or payment processing, fluency in mobile platform ecosystems (Apple and Android), and the relationship management skills needed to collaborate across teams and external vendors.

Location: You will be based in our Toronto office and will work in a hybrid work schedule.

Reporting Relationship: You will report to the Director, Payment Acceptance.

Your Moneris Career - What you'll do

  • Manage the product roadmap for our Mobile Application and Tap-to-Pay offerings, aligning to customer needs, priorities, and market opportunities.
  • Translate product vision into a 3-to-18-month roadmap and detailed backlog, delivering innovative and valuable customer experiences.
  • Lead end-to-end product lifecycle activities—from ideation and validation through delivery, launch, and iteration.
  • Work with Technology, UX, Sales, Legal, Operations, and external partners to align on goals and deliver high-quality, market-ready solutions.
  • Ensure seamless, optimized functionality across the Apple and Android ecosystems, keeping pace with OS, hardware, and app store changes.
  • Apply Agile and Scrum methodologies to deliver value through sprint planning, story creation, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
  • Build and maintain trust-based relationships across other teams and with external vendors to support alignment and execution.
  • Contribute to go-to-market strategies including positioning, commercialization planning, sales enablement, and post-launch performance tracking.
  • Analyze customer feedback, industry trends, and platform shifts to inform prioritization and lead differentiation.
  • Represent the product in demos, partner sessions, and customer interactions, driving insight-driven improvements and market fit.

Your Moneris Career - What you bring

  • 5+ years of product management experience in merchant acquiring or payment processing.
  • Knowledge of mobile app development and mobile payment technologies within the Apple and Android ecosystems.
  • Familiarity with contactless payment protocols, including NFC and EMV standards.
  • Practical experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, leading product backlogs, and delivering in iterative cycles.
  • Excellent partner and relationship management skills – you can navigate and guide technical teams, bridge goals, create product stories that resonate with sales, and align external vendors.
  • Build relationships that foster understanding and productive engagement across diverse partners.
  • Experience in commercialization, product marketing, and customer adoption strategies.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and comfort presenting product concepts, roadmaps, and trade-offs to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • French language proficiency is an asset, though not required.
  • Post-secondary education in business, information technology or a related field is considered an asset and can help support success in the role.
