As a Supply Chain Logistics Professional, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.

Here, you will make an impact by:

• Communicating with carriers and suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
• Collaborating with internal teams to resolve transportation-related issues and improve overall logistics efficiency.
• Participating in and potentially leading transportation-related project teams.
• Analysing transportation data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Developing solutions for moderately complex transportation issues based on prior practices and experiences.
• Performing moderately complex analysis and data interpretation to assist in the re-engineering of the supply chain material flow.
• Using intermediate analytical skills to analyze trends or supply chain/logistics data.
• Handling a variety of inquiries and developing solutions for moderately complex issues based on data analysis.
• Implementing efficient carrier routing strategies to optimize delivery times and costs.
• Determining the best transportation methods and routes for various products and locations.
• Supporting the development and execution of transportation policies and procedures.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who meet the following minimum requirements:

• Key skills: Intermediate analytical skills, short-term planning skills, communication.
• Education: Bachelor level university/college degree (or equivalent technical/vocational/trade school degree).
• Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years relevant working experience in supply chain/logistics disciplines such as supply planning, warehousing, transportation, inventory/materials control, import/export.
• Other: Working knowledge of computer programs and corporate systems relevant to the assigned area of responsibility.
