Job Responsibilities

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Mentor and guide junior QA testers, providing training and support as needed.
  • Lead testing efforts for more complex projects, ensuring thoroughness and accuracy
  • Conduct post-release / post-implementation testing. Assist with technical or training documentation
  • Create test data for test execution. Execute test cases (manual) and analyze results
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts, Project Managers, QA Testers, and Product Owners to deliver on behalf of the customer with quality
  • Be involved in day-to-day data testing, analyzing, documentation, troubleshooting and reporting
  • Perform usability, functional, and regression testing.
  • Evaluate product functionality according to specifications
  • Document defects using bug tracking tools such as JIRA
  • Report bugs and errors to development teams
  • Communicate with the team on issues and risks, and help to troubleshoot
  • Provide input on software quality and usability.
  • Maintain and update test documentation and reports to reflect the current state of testing activities.
  • Collaborate with onshore and offshore testing team

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS (please indicate if ‘preferred’)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent
  • Experience testing GxP applications in a highly regulated environment is preferred.
  • Previous experience with automated testing tools is highly desired.
  • Previous testing experience in diverse software testing environments.
  • Product Technology testing background is preferred
  • Familiarity with various testing methodologies and tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Knowledge of programming languages and automated testing tools is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills, problem solving capabilities and attention to details is required.
  • Curious and passionate about delivering products with the highest quality
  • Experience in leading QA projects and mentoring junior team members.

Summary

The Sr QA Tester is responsible for ensuring that our software products meet the highest standards of quality and functionality before they are released to the market. This role involves meticulously testing software applications to identify and document bugs, performance issues, and other defects, as well as verifying that all project requirements are met. As a senior member of the QA team, this role also includes mentoring junior testers and leading testing efforts for complex projects. This role will collaborate closely with a team of project manager, engineering team, business analyst and other professionals to deliver quality product, and within timelines.
