Who We Are

This position will comply with our hybrid work model and be expected to sit in our Boston, MA headquarters 3 days/week (T/W/TH)

Wayfair believes everyone deserves a home they love, and that furnishing your home should be a source of fun, not anxiety. Our Product team plays a critical role in making this vision a reality by building technology that solves meaningful customer problems in elegant, scalable, and measurable ways. We work closely with Engineering, Experience Design, Analytics, Third Party system and service providers and business leaders across the company to bring these solutions to life.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager for Supply Chain and Retail Technology to lead a strategic initiative focused on transforming our last mile delivery platform. This includes integrating with third-party execution systems and logistics partners to streamline and scale delivery operations across North America and the UK. In this role, you will optimize the end-to-end shipment execution lifecycle for a diverse carrier landscape to reduce friction in the delivery process, and strong business performance.

You’ll act as a connective tissue between engineering, business stakeholders, operations, and external partners to deliver scalable and resilient solutions that power key business functions. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in cross-functional environments, can manage complex technical ecosystems, and is passionate about building foundational infrastructure that improves operational efficiency.

What you’ll Do:

  • Own the long-term (18+ month) product strategy and near-term (6+ month) roadmap for platform tools that integrate with third-party execution systems, prioritizing features that deliver meaningful business impact.
  • Understand Wayfair’s transportation order execution processes and supporting systems, identifying ways to improve efficiency and reduce friction.
  • Lead discovery efforts to gather and translate internal and external partner needs into clear business and technical requirements.
  • Collaborate independently with stakeholders, internal technology teams across supply chain, storefront and supplier-facing to drive improvements in speed, cost and customer experience metrics.
  • Work closely with Engineering, Operations, Commercial, and External partners to deliver on your roadmap and improve team execution.
  • Plan the phase-out of legacy systems with strategies that ensure a smooth transition to modern solutions without hindering business continuity.

We Are A Match Because You Have:

  • 7+ years of product management experience, ideally focused on platforms, APIs, or integrations.
  • Comfortable discussing API design, architecture decisions, and system workflows with engineers.
  • Strong track record of leading third-party system integrations (e.g., TMS, ERP) and ability to manage 6+ month roadmap delivery with them.
  • Strong communicator with a proven ability to collaborate across engineering, operations, and external partners. Experienced in managing complex projects involving 7+ cross-functional teams. Clear, effective writing is essential and expected in this role.
  • Skilled at managing stakeholders, including senior leadership, and translating technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
  • Positive, collaborative, and energetic approach to teamwork.
