Position Purpose:
Reporting to the Director, Strategic Services, the incumbent compiles, analyzes, evaluates, and disseminates research information, derived from both internal and external sources, to provide timely and accurate information on the uOttawa’s research activities in support of:

Provides timely and accurate evidence-based information and recommendations to senior management on the uOttawa research activities including:
Needs Assessment:
Assesses the uOttawa’s requirements and gaps in the management of research information keeping abreast of reporting needs, issues, and new developments. This includes:
Project Management & Reporting:
Executes special projects and reports related to the business processes and the research information management needs of Office of the Vice President, Research and Innovation (OVPRI) and of the uOttawa as a whole. This includes:
Internal and External Liaison:
Oversees the sound management of the uOttawa’s research data holdings, a key institutional resource determining the needs of internal and external stakeholders. Acts as the primary point of contact between internal departments, such as the Information and Technology team, Financial Planning Service and Institutional Planning and Research, faculties, and researchers to provide expert advice and guidance on research data analysis.
