Position Summary

  • Qualified Candidates will be in the Dallas, TX market**

The Director of Sales & Account Management is responsible for sales, account management and business retention for Aetna products and services in support of profitable growth and other business objectives. Leads a team of sales and account management professionals for assigned customer or business segments, products and services and/or geographies.

Required Qualifications

  • Achieves cross sell, growth/retention and profitability targets and customer satisfaction levels.
  • Supports team in developing productive and collaborative internal partnerships to create a comprehensive growth and service strategy for assigned book of business.
  • Ensures alignment with customer’s objectives, financial position and employee benefit strategy while providing cross-sell opportunities and profitable revenue and growth to Aetna.
  • Manages, develops and cultivates relationships with constituents as appropriate.
  • Partners with team members as appropriate in meetings with clients to professionally represent Aetna in the marketplace; articulates how Aetna products and services can contribute to constituents’ objectives.
  • Manages and executes the sales process in collaboration with the internal constituents as necessary.
  • Ensures team members create open enrollment strategy with producer and plan sponsor to maximize enrollment.
  • Manages team in working with plan sponsor services to ensure case is installed correctly.
  • Recruits, develops and retains a diverse workforce.
  • Sets, communicates, implements and monitors performance metrics with assigned team; aligns assigned performance measures with company objectives.
  • Qualified candidates for this role will have established relationships in the Dallas market and will have several years of exemplary expereince in a Sales and Account Management environment.**

Education and Certification Requirements

  • Health & Life Licensure as required by state.
  • College degree or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

10+ years sales and/or account management experience.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$105,000.00 - $231,100.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
