Position Summary...

The Director of Talent Acquisition PMO will lead the Talent Acquisition (TA) Program Management Office, serving as a strategic partner on the GTL-TA Enablement team. This critical role drives execution of the TA strategy by overseeing a portfolio of high-impact initiatives, managing business rhythms, embedding change management principles, and ensuring rigorous governance across intake, prioritization, and delivery.

What you'll do...

This leader will build and guide a high-performing PMO team, implement scalable tools and frameworks, and act as a central point for executing enterprise-critical TA initiatives. The ideal candidate blends program leadership, strategic thinking, and organizational change management expertise.

Strategic Program Leadership

Translate TA strategy into measurable roadmaps, OKRs, and delivery plans.

Lead strategic planning sessions and quarterly/annual reviews with executive stakeholders.

Serve as the center lead for the highest-priority TA programs, driving and delivering cross-functional alignment, execution, and risk mitigation

Portfolio Governance & Prioritization

Build and operationalize a governance framework for TA’s portfolio of work, enabling intake, prioritization, and resourcing decisions aligned to strategic impact.

Establish a consistent “ways of working” model that supports visibility, accountability, and collaboration across programs.

Champion enterprise PMO best practices and connect TA portfolio management with broader HR and business priorities.

Change Management & Adoption

Design and lead change frameworks using a model of Awareness, Alignment, and Adoption to accelerate transformation and drive stakeholder engagement.

Partner with communications, HRBPs, and COEs to drive successful rollout of new tools, processes, and programs.

Develops and leverages internal and external partnerships and networks to maximize the achievement of business goals by sponsoring and leading key community outreach and involvement initiatives engaging key stakeholders in the development execution and evaluation of appropriate business plans and initiatives and supporting associate efforts in these areas

Operational Excellence & Tooling

Implement and manage PMO tooling (e.g., Wrike, Airtable, Smartsheet, etc.) to enable portfolio visibility, workflow tracking, and reporting.

Establish and run key business rhythms (e.g., QBRs, weekly portfolio standups, executive steering committees).

Creates implements and enforces standards to control project cost timeline and integration by creating and following guidelines specifications and project objectives setting performance requirements revising and creating additional standards as situations dictate to improve project delivery and ensuring execution of standards by all impacted functions

Team Leadership & Development

Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of program and project managers.

Foster a culture of agility, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Set clear performance expectations, OKRs, and development plans.

Develops and implements strategies to attract and maintain a highly skilled and engaged workforce by diagnosing capability gaps recruiting selecting and developing talent supporting mentorship workforce development and succession planning and leveraging the capabilities of new and existing talent

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications...

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or related field and 5 years' experience in business, operations, analytics, or related area OR 7 years' experience in business, operations, analytics, or related area.

3 years’ supervisory experience.

4 years’ project management experience.
