Pharmacy Technician positions are available in the adult acute care setting. Looking to create a diverse team to help perform patient care activities. Locations include Central Pharmacy, Central Pharmacy Cleanroom (sterile compounding), Operating Room (OR)/Cardiovascular Center (CVC), Adult Emergency Services (AES), and the Pavilion Pharmacy Satellites. Specific areas and shift times are available depending on current area needs.

Pharmacy Technician Senior:
At least one year of technician experience or completion of a Pharmacy Technician training program is highly desirable. Basic algebra including performing pharmacy calculations is also highly desired.
This position is part-time midnight shift. Technicians are expected to work every second weekend (Saturday and Sunday) and provide holiday coverage. Technicians' main work area will be at the University Hospital or Cardiovascular Center or Kahn Pavilion. Those hired on the OR Team may additionally rotate to Brighton Center for Specialty Care or East Ann Arbor Pharmacy. Weekend only schedules may be considered. This position is covered under the collective bargaining agreement between the U-M and the United Michigan Medicine Allied Professionals (UMMAP), which contains and settles all matters with respect to wages, benefits, hours, and other terms and conditions of employment.
Michigan Medicine conducts background screening and pre-employment drug testing on job candidates upon acceptance of a contingent job offer and may use a third party administrator to conduct background screenings. Background screenings are performed in compliance with the Fair Credit Report Act.
